Former URI Football Player Noticed at Falcons Mini Camp

I highly doubt that the majority of RhodyView followers are particularly read up about our football alumni, so I’ll fill ya in. Last summer, Matt Hansen became the first URI football players in a while to make it to the NFL. He got selected by the Falcons. Although he didn’t really play, he had real NFL experience on the practice field and with the team off the field. Now the Falcons organization has an article featuring Matt and his “one goal.” This is terrific publicity for Matt and URI. Hopefully recruits will see this and URI can benefit with some good players. From RhodyView, congrats to Matt. Keep doing what your doing. Go Rhody!!!
