I’m not sure what to expect out of Dayglow tonight at the Ryan Center. Tickets were hideously expensive, nearly twice the cost of what was originally promised last semester. For that reason alone, I’m sure ticket sales were affected. Also, why would anyone buy a ticket if they are NOT going to be on the floor? Not only is it awkward as fuck to dance in those tight rows, but there’s no real guarantee that you will even get paint on you! I know last spring, people who were in the balcony at Lupos got pissed because they were as dry as a desert after the show. Here’s a list a few annoying things:

1. Show is at 8. doors at 7: This is way too early. In order to make it on time, you have to start drinking before the sun goes down. Not that I have a problem with daydrinking, but maybe not on a tuesday when you still have afternoon classes.

2. tickets are over $80. For 3 no name DJs and David Solano, that’s pretty pricey.

3. Glow sticks and paint are not allowed to be brought in the Ryan Center. Sounds like the RC is trying to be a monopoly in the paint buisness. Only their paint is allowed. And only their glowsticks can be purchased. Load of horseshit if you ask me.

4. Needs more cowbell: self explanatory.
